Salmax Group AS was established in 2020 and is headquartered in Kolvereid in Nærøysund municipality. The company offers veterinary and other services for the Norwegian aquaculture industry and works with solutions for sustainable and future-oriented aquaculture.
We need more people on the team and are looking for a veterinarian/fish health biologist for a 100% permanent position. We are looking for a person with clinical experience and good knowledge of fish health-related issues.
Our newest initiative focuses on issues in hatchery and land-based food fish production. We are therefore looking for a professional with interest and knowledge of relevant issues related to this type of production. As a veterinarian/fish health biologist in Salmax Group, you will be connected to our R&D department (Salmax Research). In this way, you can combine clinical fish health work with research and development work. The position provides the opportunity for professional development and professionally interesting issues.
Desired qualifications and characteristics:
- Norwegian authorization
- Experience from clinical practice with fish health
- Experience and interest in hatchery production and land-based farming is desirable
- Management experience is an advantage
- Fluency in a Scandinavian language and English, both written and spoken
- Driver's license class B
- You are a person with a good sense of humor, good collaboration skills and a willingness to work hard. You must enjoy working independently and as part of a team.
